I was trying to copy the data flow Blob to Onprem SQL server using data flows. When trying to choose a SQL Server (On Prem) as sink, sql server icon is diabled in the sink linked service.

Any reson for the same? Anyhow able to connect with normal copy activity in ADF. Attached the Image.

    Hello @ashok basani ,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

Unfortunately, Azure Data Factory – data flow doesn’t support SQL server.

Mapping data flow follows an extract, load, and transform (ELT) approach and works with staging datasets that are all in Azure. Currently, the following datasets can be used in a source transformation.

I would suggest you to vote up an idea submitted by another Azure customer.

All of the feedback you share in these forums will be monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft engineering teams responsible for building Azure.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
