Hi All,
Recently i have created one free trial account. As per the Azure documentation it supports basic version of DDOS protection by default.

But when i verified the DDOS status of my Virtual network it is not active. It's suggesting me to activate DDOS for my VN.
Is it because of am i using free trail account or we need to activate it manually first time.
Cloud some one help me to get idea on this.
Thanks in advance.

    Hi @nilesht ,

Regardless of whether you are using a free account or a paid account you will need to create a DDoS protection plan and enable DDoS protection for your virtual network.

To create a DDoS protection plan

    1. Select Create a resource in the upper left corner of the Azure portal.
    2. Search the term DDoS. When DDoS protection plan appears in the search results, select it.
    3. Select Create.

Enter or select the following values, then select Create:

Then you can follow the steps in this guide for enabling DDoS protection on either a new or existing virtual network.
