Yes, I created a brand new user account & it still didn't work. It's a Lexmark 9500 series (X9575) printer, scanner, fax with Wi-Fi.

Yes, I have the correct drivers.  My computer is a laptop & am not connected to the printer directly. Instead I am connected to home network.  I had at one time the capability to print everything.  But now I can only print documents & PDFs 7 nothing from the web.

    Hi,

So you created a brand new user account and it still didn't work?

What is the make and model of the printer?

Have you made sure to download the correct drivers from the Printer's support site?

    i Hoel,

    1.       Do you remember any recent changes made on your computer after which you are facing this issue?

    2.       Do you receive this error message when trying to open any other application?

    3.       Is your computer connected to domain?

    Method 1:

I would suggest you to check the status of Remote Procedure Call locator service. Make sure the Remote Procedure Call status is Started and set to Automatic. RPC Locator should be set to Manual. Follow the below steps for the same:

    ·                              Click Start and type services.msc in the search box.

    ·                              Locate the Remote Procedure Call service, and change the startup type to Manual.

How the change the start up type?

    ·                              Right click on the service

    ·                              If the service is stopped then Start the service.

    ·                              Select Properties

    ·                              And in the Start-up type select Manual

    Method 2:

If the method 1 doesn’t help, then I would suggest you to u create another user and then check whether the issue persists.
