From doing a Google search, I see it's a Firewire device. If you go to Google and type in ubcore, you'll get a whole lot of info about it.

now i was going through my sisters laptop as i am familiar with most things until i came across a programme called ubcore by unibrain, does anyone know what it is and what it does and is it 100% okay to uninstall without messing anything up i did a quick research on it but hardly got any results.
oh my sisters laptop is a Dell Inspiron 6400, win XP sp3, 1GbRAM, 150GbHDD 1.83GHz intel celeron processor i have told her repeatedly to get a new one but making her part with the laptop is trying to part the red sea
