Will the Campaign entity continue to be supported through standard Dynamics functionality or are there plans to move this to part of the Marketing Suite only? Documentation is unclear on this if it is changing

This is a good and valid question; however, it truly has nothing to do with Service Manager and is best posted in a Dynamics forum instead of a Service Manager forum.
