Sharepoint Migration Tool - resume not work

Hello,

I am trying to get SPMT to migrate my local SPS to SPSonline.
My migration tasks are large, so at some point I need to cancel the task and resume it later.
When I tried to resume the last session, it started from the beginning instead of the last item "in progress"....

any help will be appreciated, thanks!

According to this Microsoft article，

To resume a submitted migration job, it has to have been running at least 5 minutes. It pauses at the point you closed the SPMT. If your submitted job was running less than five minutes before the tool closed, you must resubmit the job.

Resume a submitted migration job means to keep this task, the progress will still start from the beginning.

what happen If SPMT locks and you need end task?

I suggest you click the pause button multiple times, or you can delete the submitted migration job.
