CAL licence status

Question

Where I can check bought CAL licences installation status in Windows Server 2019 ? I have valid OS licence and CAL letters with theirs tracking Id . Can someone help me?

Windows Cals are not installed or tracked anywhere except via the documentation that came with your purchase.

You can use the Remote Desktop Licensing Manager tool to create reports to track the RDS Per User CALs that have been issued by a Remote Desktop license server.

Hi,

Windows CAls are licensed/purchased but not controlled - that is an honour system, i.e. you will buy it correctly and use it correctly and will keep manual records for compliance... You cannot track it by technical features.

We suggest that you should contact Volume Licensing Service Center - Microsoft for consultant.
