I'm afraid there isnt a laymans option, the process to identify the problem can be both tedious, and depending on the individuals perception, complicated.
The problem is usually caused by a program you may have installed that is auto starting on bootup
You also dont give the full program path (if its visible) C:\Program Files (x8..............?

Are you aware of what programs auto start?
On the rt side of your task bar is an arrow type icon, if you hover the mouse over it, it will say 'Show hiddon icons' If you then show, that will detail some of the programs auto starting
