    Hi,

    1)    Do you get any error code along with the error message?

To work with this issue, refer these methods.

    Method 1:

I would suggest you disable the antivirus software temporarily while you are performing the install.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Disable-antivirus-software

**Warning:**Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

Let’s try to install the file in compatibility mode and check if it helps fix the issue.

    Refer the following article:

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

    Check if it helps.

    Hi,

    1)    Are you trying to install the game from a DVD or download package?

    2)    What is the complete error message?

There isn’t enough information about the game on the Windows 7 compatibility center. Refer the following link:

    http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-US&type=Software&s=sonic%20generations

To work with this issue, refer these methods.

    Method 1:

If you are trying to install the game from a DVD, copy the contents to a folder in the hard disk and then try to install it.

    Method 2:

If you are installing the game from the download package, I would suggest you  download the game again and then try to install it.

Also, check the system requirements for the game from the downloaded files.

When you are installing the game, install the game as an Administrator.

    Find the steps below.

    a)    Right click on the setup file.

    b)    Choose the option “Run as administrator” and then install the file.

    Check if it helps.

    Method 3:

Run the fixit at the following mentioned article.

Diagnose and fix program installing and uninstalling problems automatically http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

    Hope the information is helpful.

    Hi,

you may want  to try and remove that file and reinstall it, try this:

    Download Isdone.dll from the Internet

Save the Isdone.dll file onto your computer’s hard drive

    Browse to c:\Windows\System32

Locate the current Isdone.dllon your system

Rename the current Isdone.dll to IsdoneBACKUP.dll

Copy & paste the new Isdone.dll into C:\Windows\System32

Click Start > Run (Or search ”run” on Vista & Win7)

Type “cmd” in the box that appears

Type “regsvr32 Isdone.dll” on the black screen

    Press Enter

Step 2 - Re-Install Any Programs That May Be Causing The Error

Re-Installing any programs which will be causing issues will ensure that you can get the most out of your computer. You can use these steps to re-install Brink on your PC:

    Click Start

    Control Panel

    Add/Remove Programs

    Uninstall Programs

When the list of programs load up find the necessary program and uninstall it

    Restart your computer

    Re-install the program

****I will say be careful modifying your registry. A wrong move in there can really mess up your system!!!!****
