Can you please help share more information on what exactly you mean by Azure restore history ? are you referring to Site Recovery jobs ?

Generally with in Azure Recovery Services vault , you can enable diagnostic settings to collect the following data and once you enable them you should be able to see it in Log Analytics.

Yes, it is possible to "get restore history for Azure backup" using Log Analytics. You can query the AddonAzureBackupJobs table in Log Analytics and filter for restore jobs to get the list of restore jobs for a particular VM.
