device configuration policy assigned to dynamic device group but not dynamic user group

Question

I created a device restriction policy for company owned iOS devices but when I try to assign it to the user group it doesn't come up. The group I want to add is a dynamic security user group.

I can assign the policy to users group that are assigned and device groups that are assigned or dynamic

To clarify this issue, could you please check whether the user used to validate the device restriction policy is in the Dynamic User Group? If the user isn't in Dynamic User Group, it will cause this situation.
