B2C Forgot custom policy sample

Hi,

I know click on forgot password link throws an error and I have handled it in my code, but I want to redirect to forgot policy and apply all password complexity checks as well. I tried to find but looks like there is no such forgot password custom policy. Is there any such policy available?

if not, then how should we implement behavior where user can set new password and able to login with newly reset password?

Hi @VipulSparsh-MSFT ,

I have tried to use the sample it works but my scenario is little different.

As per sample it uses embedded password reset flow, but in my scenario we want to start password reset flow from "Forgot Password" link which is UX element, see following:

Do you know if there is any way to start the flow using custom policy from forgot password link and not from claims provider?

I have tried to capture error code in my code and redirect user to specific policy flow, but I am unable to set correct authority when user reset password.

Do you know any sample where I can find error handling then redirect user to specific policy endpoint?

@Vikas Tiwari The only thing as of now is to redirect the user to a password reset policy once your app handles the error code. check more here

@VipulSparsh-MSFT I have already seen the documentation link you have provided, but unfortunately in our case we need to handle error in code redirect users accordingly.

I have tried to redirect users to password change policy explicitly using policy run endpoint but it didnt work either. I think we need somehow to trust b2c authority when redirecting explicitly from code after handling error.

Do you know if these is any documentation or sample available to see how can we redirect user to policy explicitly?
