connection or remote computer error

when i dial-up my modem display an error message **" error 720 : a connection to the remote computer could not be established. you might need to change the network settings for this connection"**how to resolve it ??

    i already know the problem ,, the problem is caused by my antivirus,, when i uninstall the antivirus error code 720 is definitely going to happen,, but if i install it again 720 error does not happen again,, oh yes i'm using bitdefender internet security,, where as the yesterday i uninstall bitdefender but not be any errors ,, but now when i uninstall bitdefender actually occured fatal error that i think,,,

    thanks for giving suggestions,, i've tried method 1 and method 2 that you suggest,, but it still can not,, is there any other suggestions

    Hi,

    Have you started facing this issue recently?

    Error 720: This issue may occur if the TCP/IP protocol has become unbound from the dial-up adapter.

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: First, **** I would suggest you to run the Network Adapter Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    a. Press Windows Logo + W keys from the keyboard.

    b. Type Troubleshooting in the search bar and press Enter.

    c. In the Troubleshooting window, click on View All on the left pane.

    d. Click on Network Adapter.

    e. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

    Method 2: You may try to reset TCP/IP and verify if it works. Follow the steps to reset the TCP/IP.

    a) Boot to the desktop view.

    b) Open command prompt, right click in the left corner when the Start window appear and select command prompt (admin).

    c) At the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:

    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

    Note: If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:

    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

    d) Reboot the computer.
