    Hi Ricky,

    Thank you for your response

    1)      May I know when exactly do you get this error message?

    2)      Do you get this error message while performing any particular task?

    3)      Do you remember making any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

When you perform a clean boot it will check which software / application is conflicting.

R un a full scan using MSS (Microsoft Safety Scanner) to make sure that the Computer is virus free.

A fast way to check for viruses is to use an online scanner, such as the Microsoft Safety Scanner. The scanner is a free online service that helps you identify and remove viruses, clean up your hard disk, and generally improve your computer's performance.

To run the Microsoft Safety Scanner:

    a)      Go to the Microsoft Safety Scanner webpage to download the scanner.

    b)      Click Download Now, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

If you need further assistance regarding Windows, please feel free to post. We will be happy to help you.

    Hi Ricky,

To assist you better I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1)      When do you get this message?

    2)      Do you face this issue while performing any particular task?

    3)      What is the make and model number of the computer?

I would suggest you to boot the computer in Safe Mode and Clean Boot.

Step 1: Safe Mode and check.

Boot the computer in Safe mode and check if the issue persists. Follow these steps to start the computer in safe mode.

Click the link and follow the steps “Start your computer in safe mode”

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Check if you face the same issue in safe mode. If the issue doesn’t persists in safe mode, the place the computer in clean boot and check.

    Step 2: Perform Clean Boot.

To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Please refer to the section “How to determine what is causing the problem by performing a clean boot”

Important: Reset the computer to start as usual.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to boot to normal startup.

    a)      Click Start button, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, you should type the password or click Continue.

    b)      On the General tab, click the Normal Startup option, and then click OK.

    c)       When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

After you determine the startup item or the service that causes the problem, contact the program manufacturer to determine whether the problem can be resolved.

Please get back with the required information to help you to fix the issue.
