LICENCIAMENTO WINDOWS SERVER 2016 - OEM

Olá a todos !

Prezados (as),

Estou com uma dúvida e gostaria de ajuda, bom tenho um servidor com o Windows Server 2016 Standard instalado, a licença deste servidor é do tipo OEM.

Eu tenho duas VM's nele que é o que tenho permissão, preciso colocar uma terceira VM lá, a questão é tenho outra chave de Windows Server 2016 Standard só que está é POR VOLUME, posso usa-la para licenciar essa terceira VM ?

Desculpe-me se eu não fui claro, caso precisem de mais informações é só falar, desde já eu agradeço qualquer ajuda !

    Should not be a problem. Some general info below.

    • A minimum of 8 core licenses is required for each physical processor and a minimum of 16 core licenses is required for each server.
    • Core licenses are sold in packs of two.
    • Standard Edition provides rights for up to 2 Operating System Environments or Windows Servers containers with Hyper-V isolation when all physical cores in the server are licensed. For each additional 1 or 2 VMs, all the physical cores in the server must be licensed again.
    • DataCenter Edition provides rights for unlimited Operating System Environments or Windows Servers containers with Hyper-V isolation when all physical cores in the server are licensed.
    • AVMA keys can be used only when the host is DataCenter edition

    Obrigado por me responder, apenas para validar se entendi mesmo.

    Eu posso então usar essa outra licença sem problemas mesmo ela sendo de outro tipo correto ? o que importa é que eu tenha licenças o suficiente para atender a quantidade maquinas que tenho virtualizadas certo ?

    I don't see a problem with this. you just may need to use the volume distribution media to build the new virtual machine so the product key channel lines up with installation media.

    Just be sure to use volume media to build the VM that will use the volume product key for activation.
