Hyper-V installation

I am having problems installing Hyper-V. It was installed on the same exact hardware before I had to perform a factory refresh. The Hyper-V platform is greyed out with the following message: HYPER-V cannot be installed the processor does not have the required virtualization capabilities

If I run SystemInfo.exe all items under Hyper-V requirements are Yes except for VM Monitor Mode Extensions. Is there a setting that turns that on? I have looked all night and can't find an answer. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for letting me know the proper place. It is hard sometimes to find the right location. My problem has been resolved. Either by installing VM Player or updating Avast to the latest version. The Avast update from today said one of the items fixed was a problem with Virtual PC. I am assuming that was the problem. Either way the Hyper-V platform is now available to install on my computer. On a side note, my Crashplan updates are running 30x faster since the Avast update so I think they had a few things to straighten out with their new version 8.
