Using resource monitor to remotely connect to another PC

Hi,

Is it possible to use the resource monitor in Windows 7 & 8 to remotely connect to another Windows machine and find out what's happening on it? The monitor has a whole wealth of information which would be useful in troubleshooting other machines.

Many thanks,

vnayak

    Hi Vnayak,

Resource Monitor is a tool that you can use to monitor the usage of CPU, hard disk, network, and memory in real time. You can use the Performance tab in Task Manager to see how your computer's CPU is being used by Windows and other programs running on your computer. You cannot use this tool to remotely connect to another machine.

However, you can use Remote Desktop to remotely access other computers and check the Resource monitor information.

    Refer to the following link:

    Hope this information helps.
