Hello all
I'm running a custom java program that I had work in the past. I went to run it again recently and it crashed a spit out a error that Java(TM) platform binary has stopped working. I've tried reinstalling java and updating with no success. the event viewer for the error has this information if its any help.

Keep the computer in clean boot and check the issue status.
How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.

Thanks for the post! I looked through that thread and checked my DEP settings. It was set for only essential windows programs and services only. Which is the setting used to fix the problem in the other thread. Would you suggest switching it to the other setting of for all programs except for the those I choose?
