UWP Application : Certificate installed in Current User store does not work

Question

Hi,

I have created an UWP app and have installed the certificate in the current user store location, but when I install the application it shows an error stating the "This app package is not signed with a trusted certificate. ". If I install the certificate in the Local Machine store it work fine. Any help or suggestion would be of great help

I have created an UWP app and have installed the certificate in the current user store location

When you install the certificate, please choose the certificate store manually instead of using Automatically select the certificate store. Make sure you have installed the certificate into the Trusted people folder.

Thanks for the quick response @Roy Li - MSFT , I had tried earlier installing the certificate in the "Trusted People" store after selecting "Current User" but that did not work.

Note: The app works fine when I install the certificate by selecting the store location as "Local Machine".
