We are unable to install 'MS21-JAN: Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 - Windows Server 2016 - KB4598243 (x64)' this patch in windows server 2016 server's , we have tried know issues fixes for this KB , checked logs but couldn't find any thing much, The server is installed with unisys stealth application. can any faced the same issue and fixed it ? if any one have the solution please reply to this post

It is still failing am looking for the logs what are all the logs i should look in to the windows server 2016, to find the exact root cause.

I was having the same issue with the KB4598243 update on multiple Windows 2016 servers. In every case so far however it succeeded on the third attempt. It's also worth noting that I've been trying to apply it via a WSUS server. I'm going to try a manual installation shortly to see if that works properly the first time.

You can try installing the prerequisite SSU

followed by the mentioned cumulative update.

You could try manually install this update in clean boot environment:

Also you could check CBS.log file to troubleshoot the issues related to Windows Update installation.
