Error While Enabeling - Add an Enterprise Keywords column to this list and enable Keyword synchronization - In OneDrive

Question

Hello MS Teams,

I have OneDrive for Business. Since Modern View doesnt provide the Metatag functionality, I came across alternative feature. Which is as below:

1. Go to Classic OneDrive
2. Click on Gear Icon on Top Right and Click on Show Ribbon
3. Under Library - Library Setting, Click on Add an Enterprise Keywords column to this list and enable Keyword synchronization
4. After checking check box of Add an Enterprise Keywords column to this list and enable Keyword synchronization and hit Submit button, it gives me below the error.

Sorry, something went wrong.
Invalid field type: TaxonomyFieldTypeMulti.

Can someone please help me with this what is wrong here?

I could reproduce this issue, however I am unable to find a workaround for it. I am a bit regretful that I wasn’t able to help you much on this. In this case, I would propose a new support ticket to be raised to have a dedicated Technical Professional to support you from there.
