Hi,

Sorry for the late response.

If the issue still persists, I would ask you to check if the issue occurs in clean boot.

Refer:

How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Refer "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot" under more informationto reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting.

Please reply with the outcome of the issue.

Thanks.

    Hi,

I would ask you to go through the link and follow steps given in the article:

Troubleshoot installation | Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements | Windows

    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/troubleshoot-installation-photoshop-elements-premiere.html

Note: Place the computer back to normal mode after troubleshooting in clean boot mode.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    1. What is the complete error message?
    2. Did you make any changes to the computer prior to the issue?
    3. Is the issue specific to a particular CD/DVD?

    4. Does the CD work on another computer?

Runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program from working correctly. Runtime errors might cause you to lose information in the file you're working on, cause errors in the file (corrupt the file) so you can't work with it, or prevent you from using a feature. Unlike stop errors, runtime errors don't typically cause Windows or a program to stop working.

To troubleshoot DVD/CD issue, refer the methods below.

    Method 1:

Refer the link mentioned below and also run the fix it tool.

Fix problems with CD or DVD drives that can’t read or write media. http://support.microsoft.com/mats/cd_dvd_drive_problems/en-us

    Method 2:

Click on the help link mentioned below and check if it resolves the issue.

Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982116

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. How to back up and restore the registry in Windows:

Hope this resolves the issue. If issue persists, you can write to us and we will be glad to assist you further.

thank you Mr. Mahes the response.

I've been doing a clean boot as mr say, but no change. Runtime error: could not find the data file.

The problem arises when I install adobe cs photoshop cs 3 n 5.

I myself use photoshop cs 2 and no problems.

How well the solution so that I can run the adobe photoshop cs 5 on my computer without any mater with the runtime ..?

when I insert the cd to drive, its autorun was working, though it was not the execution file, then I open it though the explorer, I clik the execution file, it came the error message. from the top of box message "Runtime" and error message is couldn't find data file.

I tried in my notebook drive, the cd is working, I can use it. but why I can not open it in my pc?

my drive is working for other cd tutorial.

I've done the steps above, and the result is no problem with the cd / dvd drive me.

OS on my pc and laptop both windows 7 home premium installed and always up to date.

If I enter the cd in my notebooks, autorun exe it runs. But if not in my pc, unreadable as play audio cd exe file is not his.
