error 8000000a

Question

I do not know what has happened to my computer!!

I could open some word documents for work and then i uploaded some photographs, then some of my word documents files have changed and are trying to open in Windows photo gallery then showing error code 8000000a. does anyone know what has happened or how to fix it???

Hello,

We would like to verify the file format of your word document/s. To see the format, right-click the file, go to Properties, and see the Type of file:. Please provide it on your next post.

As for troubleshooting the issue, it is possible that Photo Gallery was assigned to view your word documents. To change the program that opens your word documents, please try the following steps below:

1. Right-click a file and choose Open with then, click Choose default program...
2. Given that you have Microsoft Word program on your computer, click Microsoft Word if it is included on the Recommended Programs. If it is not included, click Other Programsand look for Microsoft Word.
3. Click the program once and put a check on Always use the selected program to open this kind of fileon the lower side of the window (Note: By checking this option, all your documents that has the same file type will be opened by your Microsoft Word).
4. Click Ok.
