I had to bring my computer to a shop to be repaired due to the OS becoming corrupt. Now my Microsoft Word and PowerPoint software won’t work. I purchased the software at the Microsoft store in Freehold Mall a couple of years ago. I called the store but they’re temporarily closed. How do I get my software working again. I can’t find the disk or key, what information do you need so I can recover my software? Thanks

If you had bought software at the store then the retail box would have had a product key on it. You need that to reactivate Office. Without that key you cannot license Office and would need to purchase it again. Personally I recommend that you store product key information somewhere electronically such that you can get back to it if you ever lose the box.

Alternatively you can purchase Office 365 subscription for a year cheaper than you can purchase a retail copy. Then it'll be tied to your MS account.

    Hi,

If you have a valid proof of purchase, Microsoft support may be able to replace your product key or provide other options. Please contact Microsoft support for assistance. Or you can purchase a subscription as @Michael Taylor suggested.
