Reader App not working

Hello,

I bought my surface RT in August 2013 and the Reader app (for opening PDF files) was working just fine. It's been almost a year now and of course my surface has went through a number of updates but the Reader app doesn't work anymore. I went into "My apps" in the Store and saw that 'I owned" it but it wasn't installed. When I went to install it, I got the installation notification in the upper right hand corner, but the app itself didn't open. Why is this happening and how can I get the app to work again?

Hi Danny,

1.       Does the issue occur while opening specific .pdf file or all?

2.       Have you installed any third-party pdf reader software?

You may face this issue if apps are not updated or if file is corrupted. Follow these troubleshooting steps and check if it helps:
