Can someone explain to me what a base unit and a scale unit is in an Integration Service Environment?

If you are looking for any specific information about Base unit and Scale unit then kindly let us know.

The Premium ISE base unit has fixed capacity, so if you need more throughput, you can add more scale units, either during creation or afterward. The Developer SKU doesn't include the capability to add scale units.

You'll have 2 options, Manual scale or Custom autoscale. Check the below doc link for detailed information.
