Delete a file on network folder on a different computer

Need help.  There are two PC computers with Windows 7 running at home - mine and my partner's.

Their computer is "wired" and mine is wireless.

When I scan a file into the network folder which goes to their folder, I am not able to delete it.  I receive a message that says, "you need permission to perform this action.  You require permission from Sue-desktop/Sue to make changes to this file."

What do I need to do to delete my scanned documents on their network folder?

Please advise.

Thanks,

Jan

You will need to go to the Sue-Desktop computer and login using Sue's username and password.  Go to the shared folder, right-click it and choose Properties.  Then go to Security and give permission for Jan to "delete files".
