disable windows features

I want turn off or disable " Windows CardSpace", "Windows PowerShell" and "Windows Contacts" .

How I turn off that's windows features?

I don't work with my pc and don't share anything.

My pc is just an video game with dvd.

Method 2:

Alternatively, if some of the features are not mentioned in Windows features list, you may try disabling the features by editing the registry. To disable Windows Powershell, you may refer to the steps mentioned below.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Step 1:

  1. Click on Start and type Regedit.exe in the Start search box and press Enter.
  2. Navigate to the following location.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Powershell\1\Install 3. Delete Install entry

Note: If you don’t have permissions to delete it from the registry then, try giving full permissions to the Powershell folder and then try to delete it.

Follow step 2 mentioned below to give permissions to the folder.

Step 2:

  1. Right click on the Powershell folder and click on Permissions.
  2. Click on full control check box and then click on Apply and OK.
  3. Try to delete the folder and check.
