0x80070422 update error code.

I desperately need to update software or I can no longer connect my work with my servers.

service 0x80070422 is not enabled. I have gone through the processes on this website to:

enact a clean boot and run windows update

start in safe mode and run windows update

manually download the current service pack build

none of these were successful. I am NOT an Information Support specialist. This is a Microsoft issue. You need to fix this. This was not an issue until a recent Microsoft security update that the server now requires. I cannot update and so cannot connect. I will lose my entire lively hood if this cannot be rectified.

I have attached an image of the results of the manual download of the service pack.

I am running a Lenovo u310.

I would appreciate a timely response.

Please do not direct me to some other article on this website. I have read more than a dozen and I have tried all of the solutions available to someone of my skill level. I need this service pack to be fixed. I need the windows update tool to be fixed. I need this service (0x80070422) to be fixed. From researching your website, this has been an ongoing, widespread, known issue for most of a year. You have not fixed this problem. You have only created several work arounds for it. Please fix it immediately.

Contact me immediately.

Is it a Win7 64-bit computer? Is Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) failing to install or...? Does the computer belong to you or your employer?

Always remember to set a System Restore point before doing any work on your computer, and back up all your personal data etc.

Please disable any Security Systems if you have on your system and then try to install/run the Windows Repair.

Download, *save*, and install the Windows Repair with no security software installed,

    • Disable your anti-viяus application, (anti virus/security suite) installed, (In addition, you may want to temporarily uninstall (anti virus/security suite) and try the Windows Repair.

Sometimes, anti virus programs are not truly disabled when we disable them as they have very deep hooks into the operating system.)

Download and install Windows Repair (All In One) 2.1.0:
