After upgrading to Windows 8.1 [Windows 8 Home Premium (x64) (build 9431)] I am getting an error code 0x0000000d when trying to connect to my network printer: Lexmark x2650 [\CPEI25725\Lexmark 2600 Series or \MAPLE-268E43E3E\Lexmark 2600 Series] and none of the *posted* suggestions have helped.

LOW and BEHOLD, today HP released updated print drivers for both machines, and it is working!

Thanks for the suggestion, but the computer with printer and files shows up. I have run and modified the registry as suggested to no avail.  When I try to open it, sees it, looks for drivers and fails at the connect. This just started happening going from windows 8.1 consumer preview to final production installation.

    Hi,

I would suggest you to run the network troubleshooter and check if it shows up an error message.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows/network-connection-problem-help#network-problems=windows-81&v1h=win81tab2&v2h=win7tab1&v3h=winvistatab1&v4h=winxptab1

After running the troubleshooter, restart the device and then try connecting the network printer.

    Let us know the results.
