Original Title: error 0x80004005 Again

This unspecified error 0x80004005 should have its own w\section.  I have installed Win 7 Home ed on a new build (ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 MoBo with an Intel Core i5 3450. It is a good gamers build.  I am basically now loading the various stuff to use both as a desktop and a gammers rig.  So, I want a system recovery disk.  Two things came up. One was a volume error which seems to have gone away by running chkdsk/f C:  The hard part was finding out how to log in as an administrator.  Next was getting the unspecified error 0x8000r005 message when attempting to burn a recovery disk.  I have AVG (free) which I disabled;  Malware Bytes (which can't be disabled) and Privitzer (no disable) for anti virus etc  This did not work.

So, I still have no system repair disk and I wonder, since there is so much of this problem floating around for the past 4 years, if any one has come up with a usable solution in easy to understand steps.

    Hi,

Error 0x80004005 denotes "Access denied". This error message indicates that the program that returned the error did not have sufficient privileges to perform the requested operation.

    Common causes of Error 0x80004005...

    1.       Misconfiguration in system.

    2.       The user is not logged in as an Administrator.

    3.       The user mistakenly denied elevated privileges to the program's request.

    4.       The program is requesting access to an object that does not supply sufficient privileges for itself.

    5.       Virus/Malware infections.

I need some of the information to clarify the issue and these are:

    1.       Which program you are using to create a system recovery disk?

    2.       Are you using Windows Back and Restore or any third party program?

    Method 1

Temporarily disable anti-virus by following the below link:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Disable-antivirus-software

NoteAntivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2

You can use the following link to create or burn system repair disk and the link for the same is: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/create-a-system-repair-disc

    Method 3

You can take help from the following link to login as administrator: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/how-do-i-log-on-as-an-administrator

Try these steps hopefully your issue will be resolved.

    Thanks and regards.
