    Hi,

As you have Windows 7 Enterprise edition installed, your question is better suited for the TechNet Forums: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/home?category=w7itpro

    Thank you.

The Windows 7 pro COA on the bottom of the new netbook doesn't have product key, but a tracking ID, should the product key be built-in the pre-loaded customised windows 7 enterprise edition?

    The error description:

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I just found out the error code should be 0x8007007B not 0x80070078.

According to your post, if i change the product key to the one got from the school, it should be working?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi

The Enterprise edition is only available to business customers. This edition requires activation using a Volume License product key.

    • Windows 7 Enterprise:
      • This edition targets the enterprise segment of the market and is sold through volume licensing to companies which have a Software Assurance contract with Microsoft.

You will need to contact the school to resolve this problem.

    Regards
