I tried those but didn't work. But now i finally got it working after i installed the Wireless LAN utility from the disc and then the compatible drivers. Tablet connects to it just fine, internet sharing works. So it's all solved now. Thanks for all your help!
BSOD, "BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER" While trying to create a hotspot in Win 8.1
So here's the problem: my Windows 8.1 desktop crashes everytime i try to create a hotspot. It shows me a blue screen with a sad smiley face and the text below the usual error text: BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER. I tried creating a hotspot with CMD and the program that came with the USB Wifi adapter. Both resulted in the same error. Worked fine with Win8 though. The adapter is a Realtek RTL8188CU.
Does anyone know why that happens? Is it a problem with the driver?

2014-09-23T13:41:00+00:00 Hi,
Thank you for keeping us updated on the status of the issue, I am glad that it’s now resolved.
What happens when you try to connect to the hotspot?
Do you get an error message?
I’d suggest you to create a hot spot using either your phone or the tablet and try connecting the other device to this hotspot. This will help us determine if the problem is with the transmission or the reception of the hotspot.
You may refer to the suggestions from AndyWihalim replied on July 13, 2013 on how to create a hotspot.

2014-09-20T21:59:34+00:00 Well, now it started working after i used the method you linked. Thanks!
But now there's another issue. My Bada phone or my Android tablet won't connect to it. Maybe the hotspot is an ad-hoc network? If so how do i start a hotspot that isn't?

2014-09-20T14:32:20+00:00 Also, it may help to look at the minidump files from the blue screen crashes with a debugger.
Can you zip up the minidump files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and make available (provide link) via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site?
Here's a couple of links on using OneDrive (SkyDrive):

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/onedrive/share-file-folder
If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop
Also, you do not necessarily have to zip up the minidump files, you can upload them one at a time
