I have no viruses, suspicious files or anything unusual. I don't have a backup and I am pretty sure looking at other forums on the internet that this is Windows' problem.
Folder turned into .file
Today, I put my memory stick with lots of videos for which I was making a film out of into my laptop. It said that I should Scan and Fix it so I did that.
Then, the folder with all the videos suddenly became a file format which is 4KB. It said all lost files would be put in a found folder (which doesn't exist on the USB or Laptop). The USB however still has lost no space so the 1 - 2 GB of Videos according to properties is still on their. I really would like the videos back, is there anyway of reversing this and also why has Windows done this?
