Original title: Windows

Just recently (in the last few weeks) when I down load anything that I want to look at, I am getting a message "NO PARAMETER statement found"

I am not aware that I did anything to my computer to prompt this. I have virus protection, and have run cleaners on my system.

What could be the cause, and how can I fix it?

You rarely find out whether using a registry cleaner has caused an insoluble system error or the cause was something else. Registry cleaners can easily remove entries but cannot restore them. If you know the exact time the error first occurred you might use System Restore to fix the error. However, do not use System Restore to go back too far.

When I used the CCleaner I also used the registry tool. Could this be what caused my problem? Can I fix it by re-installing my Windows 7 software?

cCleaner is a good programme but I would advise against using the Registry Cleaner component.

    See paragraph 4.10:

Please upload and share with everyone copies of your System and Application logs from your Event Viewer to your Sky Drive and post a link here.

I ran a program called CCleaner. We have used it at our office and never had a problem.

and have run cleaners on my system.

    What cleaners?

Please upload and share with everyone copies of your System and Application logs from your Event Viewer to your Sky Drive and post a link here.

To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window select Windows Logs and System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and Save All Events as (the default evtx file type) and give the file a name. Do the same for the Applications log. Do not provide filtered files.

For help with Sky Drive see paragraph 9.3:
