SM Bus Controller

I have a yellow exclamation mark on SM Bus Contoller in my device driver list.I don't know the manufacturer of the device.How do I update or install a driver?

VEN_8086 is Intel and DEV_2930 would be the Intel ICH9 Family SMBus Controller:

Try the following utility from Intel and see if it picks up a driver update:

http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

Also, what computer do you have (make/model)?

    In the Device Manager can you right-click the device > Properties > Details, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

    What is listed under "Value"?
