Error message, "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. And USB Composite Device-Access Denied".

"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. And USB Composite Device-Access Denied" is the error i am getting with all devices. Its very annoying..... Please give me solution to overcome this.. .

1. Did you make any software or hardware changes prior to the issue?

2. What is the make and model number of the computer?

3. Which anti-virus is installed on the computer?

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

Method 1 Follow the steps given below to resolve the issue.

Step 1

Try running the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Step 2

Try to run the following fixit and check with the issue:

Method 2:

Reinstall USB controllers.

We may also try to reinstall USB controllers and check. This method can help us in the scenario where the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or corrupted.

Follow the steps below to Rebuild USB Controllers.

  1. Click Start, then type device manager in the Search box, and then click Device Manager.
  2. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right click a device and click Uninstall. Repeat for each device. Once complete, restart your computer. Your USB controllers will automatically install.
  3. Check with the issue.
