Tried installing Windows 8.1 update, KB2919355 and all its KB predecessors. The Stand Alone Installer says the update is "not applicable" to my computer (which is a HP ENVY and already loaded and working with 8.1). What's going on here, please?

Many thanks, Andre. I tried your suggestion but I don't know how to initiate an "elevated" command prompt. Could you help again, please?
- Open an elevated command prompt. (Enter command prompt into Search. In the list of results, swipe down on or right-click Command Prompt, and then tap or click Run as administrator.)
It was explained in item 1.
