Original title: SOMETHING HAPPENED AND YOUR PURCHASE CAN'T BE COMPLETED. ERROR CODE x80096004

i have done reset too .....my update are on to firewall but i am not able to download any thing from the store even a free app. i am signed in too . plz help me

    1. Did you face any issue with installing Windows Updates?
    2. Did you make any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

    Refer to the following troubleshooting methods in the order in which they are presented and check the issue status.

    Method 1:

    Download and run the App troubleshooter, restart the computer and check if it helps.

    Method 2:

    Re-register the Store App, restart the computer and check if it helps.

    a. Press “Windows Key + Q” button from the keyboard.

    b. Type “Command Prompt” without quotes in the search box.

    c. On the left pane, right click on the “Command Prompt” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

    d. Run the following command, restart the computer and check.

    powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
