But you may need to remove it through start up
(1) if there is anything related to the .dll u you have described here , at system tray start up disable it ..
or
try to use "Autoruns for Windows" and check whether there is a startup entry related to the .dll u you have described and if so remove it..

taskschedule**===>**task scheduler library . If found delete the entry related to msvcr71.dll from task scheduler library
