Windows Update Log Error

Question

I think this is the part of my log that shows what the error might be that is not allowing me to update. Can anyone make sense of this and let me know why it wont update? Thanks! If this is not enough or is not the right portion of the log, let me know and I can copy and paste up further. This is just the tail end of the log from today and it mentions the error code that windows update keeps giving me.

2. What is the complete error code or message that you get when performing Windows update?

Error 0x80010108 is generally triggered because of a corrupted system file. So, I would suggest you to try the following methods and then try installing the updates.

Method 1:

Open the Windows Update troubleshooter

Method 3:

Apart from the above methods, I would suggest you to perform a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for corrupted system files (for Error code:0x80010108)

1. Go to Start, click All Programs and open Accessories.
2. Right click on Command Prompt in the Program list and then select Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK, or else click Yes.
3. In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

sfc /scannow

I had this error on Windows Server 2008 R2 and KB4012212 could not be installed. There was a Virtual Box Service which blocked this update to run successfully.
