    Hi David,

It would be helpful if you could answer these questions in order to troubleshoot.

    1. When exactly do you get these error messages?

    2. Were any changes made to the computer prior to the issue? Were any software related to Lenovo installed/uninstalled or updated?

If you receive these errors at startup, then it has to be a software from Lenovo that is either corrupted or deleted as a result of which it tries to run the VB script. Placing the computer in Clean boot state can help us to find out the exact software that is causing this issue.

Note: Once done troubleshooting, place the computer in normal mode by following the steps mentioned in "How to reset the computer to start as usual after clean boot troubleshooting"

Also go to the location *C:\programdata* and check if there is a folder by the name Lenovo.

Note: Program data might be hidden on the computer. To see hidden folders, follow the steps mentioned in http://blogs.msdn.com/b/zxue/archive/2012/03/08/win8-howto-19-show-hidden-files-folders-and-drives.aspx

Hope this information is helpful. If you have any concerns, let us know.
