0x800b0100 error

After updating my windows 8 to 8.1 when I want to launch the Windows defender I got an error 0x800b0100 which is basically windows update error I tried my best to resolve it by launching WindowsUpdateDiagnostic but it was not fixed by it then I launched DISM tool but in vain so guide me the what should I do to resolve it?

    After trying Update Troubleshooter

    "Problems installing recent updates  not fixed

    Check for missing or corrupt files     detected"

    0x800b0100 errors are typically symptoms of (a) an ongoing infection and/or (b) a previously-installed but not fully-removed Norton and/or McAfee application.

    Perform a DISM method once again by following the steps given here:

    If it doesn't solve the problem, go to "What the System Update Readiness tool does" section of article and under "Logging" you will find path to two log files. Upload both of them to SkyDrive and post a link here.
