Hi Antonio,

You can use “Live file system” to burn files without creating the temporary burn folder. To burn files, you can use third party software and use the same file system.

Disclaimer: Using Third Party Software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software can be solved. Using Third Party Software is at your own risk.

Follow the steps listed below to do so:

  • Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your computer's disc drive. Wait for the drive to recognize the disc and open the "Auto Play" window. Click on the "Burn files to data disc" selection.
  • Type in the name for the disc in the "Burn a Disc" window that opens. Click on the "Next" button to format the disc in the Live File system format. When the format is complete an empty disc folder associated with the CD will open.
  • Press Windows+E keys to open File Explorer. Use the folder tree to locate the files you want to burn to the CD/DVD. Click on the files and drag them into the empty disc folder. The files are copied to the disc as they are dragged into the disc folder and temp files are not created.
  • Eject the disc from the burner drive after you have copied all the files into the disc folder.

Please feel free to ask more queries on Windows.
