Generic Postscript Driver

We have an OKI printer that is not a postscript printer.  It does not print reduced scale prints (IE - A1size drawings printed on A3 paper have half the lines missing). We have been told that we need to install a generic postscript driver for Windows 7 (64 bit).  I am after some advice on what driver to install and how to install it so that it works with our OKI printer.

    Thanks Shalini,

I uninstalled the driver and re-installed from the link you provided.  This did not change anything.

As I have said, I do not get any error messages when printing, and the printer prints completely fine for everything, except when I am printing an A1 size PDF, reduced to fit A3 paper, then it still prints, it just doesn't print all the lines etc.

If I print the same reduced size drawing from my colleague's Apple computer it prints perfectly.  I have been told that this is because Apple have a generic postscript driver "built in" whereas PC's don't.  Is there something within my system, rather than the printer driver, that I can change?

    cheers

    Hello Kathryn,

Without knowing what model machine you have and exactly what the issue is, it is difficult to assist. I would recommend either contacting Oki Data's technical support at 1-800-654-3282 available 24/7 or can have direct communication via email at ******@Okidata.com.

    Hi Kathryn,

I was unable to find post script drivers from the manufacturer website. You may check this link for more details.

I would suggest you to follow the suggestions from my previous post and check if it helps.

The printer is an OKI C810

I have been in contact with Oki.  They have no interest in helping me.  They have advised that it is not a postscript printer and they can not assist with any solutions to help me.
