Windows Explorer high memory usage problems

Hi!

My concern is that whenever I use Internet Explorer Metro in my newly bought Lenovo Ideapad Y510P, Windows Explorer's (explorer.exe) memory usage becomes VERY HIGH, even reaching to 2GB of memory consumption and it NEVER goes down even after I close IE Metro unless I manually restart explorer.exe via the Task Manager.

I've tried resetting my laptop to factory settings after noticing this but the problem still occurs.

Also tried to ask a friend who is using Windows 8.1 and said that it never have occurred to him.

Below is an image of what is happening so that you guys will get a clearer picture.

open task manager , right program that's stealing all the memory and click end task

I also suggest run  a memory test , since the memory could be bad

As I've said, even after closing IE Metro,  Windows Explorer's memory consumption DOESN'T go down. Even if the laptop is in idle. Restarting Windows Explorer works but it's much of a hassle to having the need to restart it after every session of using IE Metro.

As a work around, create a user account and check the issue status in the new user account. This helsp you to diagnose the issue.

    Create a user account
