I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Often, not always, when I boot in the morning I get a bugcheck. I can then reboot and it will run for the rest of the day and sometimes for several more days. Then it bugchecks some other morning. Never seems to do it more than once a day.

I downloaded and ran The values are

050314-9640-01.dmp      5/3/2014 6:41:51 AM       SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION    0x0000003b

parameter1   00000000`c0000094

parameter2     fffff800`036e8358

parameter3     fffff880`073af880

parameter4     00000000`00000000

The "caused by driver", "caused by address",  product description, company, file version, crash address values are all blank.                                                                                                    x64                                                                                         C:\Windows\Minidump\050314-9640-01.dmp   4              15           7601                262,144 5/3/2014 7:01:21 AM

YOu can try using the newest version on the Dell site and installing it in compatibility mode but this may very well come down to a case of either living with the crashes or disabling the web cam and buying a new one that is supported.

To install in compatibility mode do the following:

Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS

We do need the actual DMP file as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

We prefer at least 2 DMP files to spot trends and confirm the cause.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here

If you have any questions about the procedure please ask

If you are using Blue screen view, who crashed, or a similar application, don't.  They are wrong at least as often as they are correct
