I get this same error for every single one. I've downloaded the file and replaced it, I've done all disk optimizations, cleaned the registry, downloaded and bought a program called dll-fixer which (supposedly) fixed all of my dll, registry, and activex issues. I have redownloaded steam AND the games themselves. I've restored my computer to an earlier date. I've run everything as an administrator and made sure nothing was running in compatibility mode. After scouring 928,233,582,204 google pages I have yet to find a solution. Please help?

I have been having similar problems. Started last week after Windows Update. It affects Internet Explorer, Explorer.exe and picture viewer apps.

You need to read and follow the instructions in this Wiki, post the required information and hopefully someone will respond.
