Thank you very much for the suggestions. I tried each one without results.

I can give additionnal info as to when this problem occus:

    • I can download the driver from the HP site.

The driver is on my computer but I can't run it.

Here's when I get the message I refer to in the title of my message

    • I get the WinZip self extractor- Laserjet CM1312nfi Driver-upd..
    • I Unzip that

-After that I get the message 91 file unzipped succesfully

-After that you accept andcome to the installation assistant of HP universal printing

    • I click yes at the bottom

    - I choose traditional mod ( I tried with the other one and it gives the same result)

    • I click install
    • And it's after that, that I get the message Operation could not be completed (error 0x8000f0214)
    • I see underneath that message the installation image (when I click on OK on the error message, I get to the final scrceen of the installation , but naturally even though I accept the last screenthe driver is not installed).

Thank you again for your help.

    Hello Lucprovost,

Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Community.

I would suggest you to try following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Run Printer troubleshooter

    Refer:

    Open the Printer troubleshooter

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter

If it does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:

I would suggest that you check if the service related to the printer is running on the computer.

    a. Open Administrative Tools by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking  System and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.

    b. Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    c. Right-click Print Spooler service, and then click  Properties.

    d. On the General tab, next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.

    e. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Please also download and install printer driver from this link.

    I hope this information helps.

Please do let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you
