Windows 2012 R2 to Windows 2019 upgrade FTP usage

I currently have a server that is Windows 2012 R2 and would prefer to do an in place upgrade to 2019. The server is primarily used for FTP.

My question is whether there are any caveats for the FTP, whether this will need to be reconfigured, or whether it will stay configured as is.

thanks

An in-place upgrade of windows server is never recommended. You'll find more FTP experts over here in dedicated IIS/FTP forums.
